If your kids are anything like mine, they want to be carried, even when they’re bigger than is comfortable. Traveling and travel days make this situation even worse! Luckily we found an amazing toddler carrier to help that we love!
I love to post recommendations of our favorite products. And I thought there was no better product to start with than one of my FAVORITES, the Rouu Baby toddler carrier.
In all transparency, the Rouu Baby toddler carrier was gifted to me before a couple big trips. It very quickly became an essential item for every time we travel. I only wish I had gotten it sooner!
My son has always been a velcro kid. He was a velcro baby, velcro toddler, and now a velcro little kid. As he’s gotten older, it’s harder to carry him around as much as he wants to be carried. The Rouu Baby toddler carrier is a total lifesaver for my back in those moments. It helps evenly distribute his weight so pressure is relieved from my back and hips.
I’ve brought it on a few trips this year, and it has been so helpful.
Here’s a few real scenarios where the Rouu Baby toddler carrier has been tremendously helpful:
- Carrying my son across the entire Austin airport at midnight when our gate was the furthest from the exit. I was flying solo, so had all of our luggage and the Rouu Baby helped free up my hands too!
- Walking a half mile down Seven Mile Beach in Grand Cayman. If you’ve ever walked a long distance on a sandy beach, you know it’s more strenuous than walking on solid ground!
- Snuggling my son after he spiked a fever on a flight. It allowed us to move more quickly, get out of the airport faster to get medicine and get to our condo for a nap.
Overall, this is a toddler travel product I strongly recommend to all families. It saves the strain on your back in those inevitable moments where you need to carry your kiddos, and frees up your hands to carry luggage and other items.
