Hotels

$$$ | Royal West Indies Resort
We stayed at Royal West Indies Resort when my son was six months old, and can confirm it was the perfect spot for families of all ages. Located right on Grace Bay Beach, they offer studios, as well as one- and two-bedroom condos, which are great for extra space for bedtime or naptime. The units also have a full kitchen, which was great for food and milk storage, and in room laundry.
In terms of amenities, the property also offers multiple pools, (including a toddler pool!) beach-front access and an on-site restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. And the pathways throughout the resort were extremely stroller-friendly.
Dining

$$$ | Indigo
We were in Turks and Caicos over our wedding anniversary, so treated ourselves to dinner at Indigo. Not only was the food delicious here, but the vibes were incredible – truly luxe Caribbean. With a baby or toddler, I’d recommend booking an early reservation so you can enjoy as much of this culinary delight as possible before bedtime.
$$ | Da Conch Shack
A must-stop when you’re in Turks and Caicos, Da Conch Shack is a laid back option that serves great food and great drinks, right on the water. We stopped in for a late lunch, and they served all of our island favorites – conch fritters, fish tacos, mahi mahi. This is a very popular spot, so even though it’s a casual restaurant, I’d recommend making a reservation.
$$ | Rickie’s Flamingo Cafe
Rickie’s is a super casual restaurant and beach bar right on Grace Bay Beach (just a short walk from the Royal West Indies Resort). We love an open air beach bar vibe, so this was right up our alley, and the food was delicious as well. Our recommendation is try and find a night when they have live music – nothing better than live reggae in the Caribbean!
