When we travel, we love to visit restaurants that have a great menu for adults but are also kid-friendly. In Savannah, that meant restaurants with fresh seafood for the adults, but that also had a menu with the staples that my picky eater will actually eat. Read below for three of our favorite family-friendly Savannah restaurants. Each had something special for all of us!
Family-Friendly Savannah Restaurants 1:
Sorry, Charlie’s Oyster Bar
Why parents will love it: Sorry, Charlie’s had a great selection of cocktails and a good wine list with options that paired really well with their food. If you’re looking for seafood, their menu has exactly what you’re looking for. They have options like peel n’ eat shrimp, a large selection of oysters, and tons of other shellfish options. This isn’t as kid-friendly, but there are also two bars, one rooftop, and a tiki bar on the second floor.
Why kids will love it:Â The kids menu is relatively large and has a good diversity of options. They offer coloring sheets and crayons, and the staff is very friendly to kids!

Family-Friendly Savannah Restaurants 2:
River House
Why parents will love it: River House is in an awesome location right on the river. If the weather is nice, they have outdoor seating and a great cocktail menu!
Why kids will love it: It’s right on the river, so kids can watch boats sail by while dining. They have a great kids menu and were also very accommodating to any of our kiddos’ special requests (like when my son wanted just an order of bacon).
Family-Friendly Savannah Restaurants 3:
Mellow Mushroom
Why parents will love it: Mellow Mushroom has a ton of specialty pizzas for any palate. The decor is really fun and cute, and (at least for us) it was super easy to get a table with no wait.Â
Why kids will love it: Pizza is such a great kids food. And they have a ton of other options for kids like jumbo pretzels and calzones too. They have a kids activity sheet that matched the cool decor, and kept our kids very occupied!
